That’s right! Throughout this event, players will be able to earn UGO Points. Joining and winning games and events in each game room will earn them points depending on the room. There is no limit to the amount of points someone can get in a specific room, so play to your heart’s content.
If you’re aiming for the top, there are two things to keep in mind: Spotlight Days and the Struchni System.
Every weekday (and the opening day), one of the eight rooms will have a spotlight day. During a spotlight day, all non-event points players earn from that room will be multiplied by 1.5, rounding up if applicable.
The Schedule shows what every spotlight day is. You can also check /daily spotlight in the UGO room for the current spotlight day.
This year, we are encouraging the obligatory tryharding using the Struchni System. With this system designed by, who would have guessed, Struchni, players have to frequent every room to maximize their points.
During the event, as players collect points, the UGO bot will store the number of points players earn from each room separately. At the end of the event, UGO will multiply the highest number of points by 1, second highest by 1.2, third by 1.4, and so on for every player.
For example, one user earned 70 points in Game Corner, 60 in Mafia, 32 in Trivia, 30 in Scavengers, 25 in Survivor, 13 in Battle Dome, 6 in Trick House and 4 in Board Games in the imaginary one-day event Miniature Gaming Olympics. That’s a total of 240 raw points. Applying the Struchni System, here’s the new total:
70 * 1.0 + 60 * 1.2 + 32 * 1.4 + 30 * 1.6 + 25 * 1.8 + 13 * 2.0 + 6 * 2.2 + 4 * 2.4 = 328.6 → 329 Points
Meanwhile, we have another user who decided to tryhard just Mafia and Game Corner, where they knew they could farm a lot of points. In one day, they earned 140 points in Mafia and 100 in Game Corner. That’s also a total of 240 raw points, but with the Struchni System, here’s the new total:
140 * 1 + 100 * 1.2 = 260 Points
Even though the second user earned more raw points, the first user gained a lot more UGO Points for frequenting more rooms. That is the power of visiting many rooms!
Throughout the event, rooms will be hosting collaboration events. When this happens, UGO will distribute the points evenly between both rooms.
