UC Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Prevention for Non-Supervisors

As part of the University’s efforts to prevent and respond to harassment and discrimination, you have been assigned this harassment and discrimination prevention training course, required of staff at all UC locations every two years.

UC Cyber Security Awareness Fundamentals – annual e-course ~35mins (paid 45 minutes)
This course takes 35 minutes to complete.
As part of the University's efforts to address the increasing threats to the security of our information systems and data, you have been assigned this security awareness training program, required of faculty and staff at all UC locations.
Each member of the University community has a responsibility to safeguard the information assets entrusted to us.
This training program will better prepare all of us to fulfill this responsibility and to strengthen our defenses against future attacks.
Clery Act Training – annual e-course ~35mins (paid 45 minutes)
This course takes 35 minutes to complete
You have been identified as a Campus Security Authority under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (20 U.S.C. § 1092(f)), and you have been assigned this training course.
As a Campus Security Authority, you are required to report Clery Crimes occurring on Clery Geography that you witness or learn about while acting within your role as a Campus Security Authority to the UC San Diego Police Department.
This training is designed to provide Campus Security Authorities with more detail on how to report a crime and about important safety and security policies.
UC Abusive Conduct in the Workplace – one time e-course ~20mins (paid 30 minutes)
This course takes 20 minutes to complete
As part of University of California’s (UC) ongoing commitment to creating a safe and healthy working environment in which every individual is treated with respect, and in support of the five anchors of UC San Diego’s People Proposition, UC has launched a required system-wide training on Abusive Conduct in the Workplace. This training is in alignment with President Michael Drake’s policy effective January of 2023. The policy is applicable to all UC San Diego employees, including staff, academics, and health.
**NEW UC Workplace Violence Prevention – annual e-course ~25mins (paid 30 minutes)
UC San Diego strives to maintain a safe workplace, free from threats and acts of intimidation and violence. Enforcing appropriate remedial action to protect the welfare of employees is a crucial part of The Workplace Violence Prevention Program (WVPP) at UC San Diego. The goal is to promote a work environment that is predicated on employee well-being.
Any act of violence or threat of violence that occurs in a place of employment. Acts of violence include, but are not limited to, the threat or use of physical force against an employee that results in, or has a high likelihood of resulting in, injury, psychological trauma, or stress, regardless of whether the employee sustains an injury; and incidents involving a threat or use of a firearm or other dangerous weapon, including the use of common objects as weapons, regardless of whether the employee sustains an injury. Workplace violence does not include lawful acts of self-defense or defense of others.
