Here is a link to Perfect Game's website which showcases some of the content I have written, including Top Prospects Lists, Daily Reports/Scout Notes, and even some general web content!

Here are a couple of Google Docs embedded with scouting reports that I completed with Perfect Game USA from this summer and fall during my time in Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, and my time this fall helping out in the Cincinnati area!

NOTE: For the Perfect Game documents, the links to tweets are supposed to look funny; the links will not activate unless viewed through the Perfect Game Website directly.

Moving onto some Collegiate scouting and templates I have created...

Here is a link to an opposing Pitcher's Scouting Report Template I created using some of the old templates I have come across. Below that you will find more information on what it will look like when it is filled out.

Copy of [BLANK] Pitchers Scouting Report

As promised, below is an excerpt from the opposing Pitching Scouting Report on a former MAC player. Joe Rock, an Ohio University alum, is the player that is being looked at in this report itself using the report from above.

Here is an opposing Hitter's Scouting Report Template that has been revamped and changed a little from the example below, but it's nearly the same report.

2022 Hitters Scouting Report Template (Updated)

Below is an example of the Hitters Scouting report for Will Frizzell who now is in the Washington Nationals system. This report was from his time with Texas A&M before the pandemic.

Below is a link to a Google Sheet that is a template I built from scratch. This template is one of the most significant pieces I have used to work through our pitcher's development. It has 55 tabs for the games we are likely to play throughout a college season and can be changed if necessary. Each of those tabs feeds into the two "Totals" tabs at the front. The sheet contains a variety of metrics and spits out a lot of really insightful data for us managers and coaches to dive into and use for other projects. We use our in-game data to input this information and then rely on each tab's totals and overall! Take a look at this blank version for yourself!

DEVELOPMENT & ANALYSIS TOOLS

TEMPLATE OF PITCHING STAT SHEET

Since former Miami RedHawks player Sam Bachman is now with the Los Angeles Angels, using some of his old collegiate data gives you a look at what this Totals page would look like if it were completed. Take a look to see some of the settings that make it very easy to digest this information.

Spring 2020 Pitching Stats - TOTALS.pdf

Below this is an example of something that was created with the aid and direction of Coach Matthew Passauer. It is a report that would be given to a pitcher following their start to allow them to get a sense of their stats, if they met their goals, and if things were up to far. I filled out the form with random numbers so that you can get a feel for what the analysis tool looks like when completed.

MOCKUP Post Outing Assessment Breakdown - Sheet2.pdf

Below is a .pdf file of a very simple version that I created to track each outcome in terms of velocity and ball flight from a fall during my first two seasons with Miami. Landon Stephens numbers are shown below, now a member of the Atlanta Braves organization, Stephens would be able to look at this data and really try to merge it with his hitting identity and ensure he is driving the ball where he wants it and how he wants to using the Ball Flight system that Coach Justin Dedman employed during his time with Miami.
