Troop 2535 provides many opportunities for service to the community. Scouts who need service hours for school will have no trouble meeting requirements. Here are a few of the ways we fulfill the pledge to "help other people at all times". Our Eagle Projects are designed and managed by Scouts with guidance from Adult Leaders.
Our Scouts run the concesssions stand and serve as car runners.
Choose to hike or serve food at our support station.
Our Scouts help out at this STM School community event.
We serve the Cathedral community by grilling and serving food.
You never know what we'll find during quarterly cleanups of Four Mile Run! It's always entertaining.
We are honored to be part of wreath laying or cleanup at Arlington National Cemetery.
We made 100 pasta dinners from scratch and served them to residents of the Alexandria Community Shelter.
We restored a garden path on S. Four Mile Run Drive.
Constructed and installed an educational kiosk in the garden at Thomas Jefferson Community Center.
We constructed five wooden benches for Long Branch Nature Center.
Reconstructed a new platform for a gardening shed at a senior center, cleaned the walls of the shed and constructed new tool racks.
We help transport and set up tables and chairs for the OLQP Parish Picnic.
