Harpers Ferry Campout

The Harpers Ferry Campout included hiking, history and whitewater rafting. Scouts stayed in tents at Camp Manidokan for two nights to strengthen camping and cooking skills. See more info on Harpers Ferry National Park HERE.

2025 SCHEDULE

Friday, Aug. 29

Meet at STM at 7 pm
Eat before you come or bring dinner to eat on the way
Camp at Manidokan

Saturday, Aug. 30

Breakfast at the campsite - pancakes and eggs
Make sack lunches - sandwiches
Hike around Harpers Ferry, explore historical sites, have lunch and ice cream
Afternoon whitewater rafting trip
Dinner at our campsite - hamburgers with mac & cheese
Camp at Manidokan

Sunday, Aug. 31

Breakfast at the campsite, pack lunches for the trip home
Break down camp and depart by 11 am, returning home by 1 pm
