Open House

Here's the Scoop:

Our last Open House was Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, but you can visit any time!

We meet Tuesdays from 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm in the St. Thomas More Cathedral School Cafeteria (door 13), or outside when the weather is nice.

Boys ages 10-17 are welcome to visit. To join, boys must be at least 11, or age 10 with an Arrow of Light award.

Wear whatever you're comfortable wearing. If you're currently a Cub Scout, a Scout uniform is appropriate.

NO SCOUTING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Many of our Scouts were never Cub Scouts. That's fine! The program is designed to start with the basics and let you move at your own pace. Some of our Scouts can come every week and others can't. That's also fine. You have families, sports, homework...we get it. We hope you'll look forward to seeing your friends in Troop 2535 and you'll make time for the events that sound fun and rewarding.At the Open House, see how our Scouts open and run a meeting, including planning their camping trip to Camp William B. Snyder to support the District Camporall. See photos of our typical activities. How quickly can you set up a tent? Learn to cook one of our troop specialties (I hear it might be donuts) and play a game.Adults will meet our leaders and learn what makes Troop 2535 special. Hear about the flexibility, special attention and leadership opportunities that come with being in a small Scout-led troop.
