Hiring company is a leading solutions provider and electronics manufacturer for the autonomous vehicle industry with state-of-the-art facilities in China and a global R&D core based in Singapore.

Reports to: Head of Autonomous Vehicle Technology, Singapore
· To research and develop deep learning-based vision algorithms for the perception tasks of autonomous driving, under practical lighting & weather conditions
· Recognition of multiple lanes, signs, signals and drivable areas, under conditions of darkness, light glare, poor weather, and roads that lack clear lane markers or boundaries
· Road segmentation to create drivable space, and separate typical objects on and off the road range
· Recognition of vehicles, with precise estimate of their distance and direction up to 80 meters
· Detection of pedestrians, with accurate measure of the distance and identify postures and possible intentions
· Test and debug the developed algorithms on real vehicle and real road driving situations
· MS or BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
· Chinese speaking is important for this role as there is a need to liaise and work closely with Chinese speaking customers.
· 3+ years professional experience of image processing (segmentation, recognition, tracking etc.) for real time applications
· Extensive experience of one or more of the following: Deep Neural Network, Other modern machine learning methods, Geometric computer-vision such as SLAM, optical-flow and stereo, Sensor fusion of RGB and depth
· 3+ years professional experience as software engineer using C++/Python
· Good knowledge on Linux programming
· Experience of developing software as part of a team.
· Hands on experience in robotics, automotive or other real-time and embedded systems.
· Proven track record of publications in relevant conferences (CVPR, ICML, NIPS, ICCV)
· Hands on experience in designing, implementing, and testing of computer vision applications
· Familiarity with tools of CUDA, Git, CMake and etc.
