Hiring company is a leading Singapore SME and global manufacturer of smart cards used for payment and telecommunication, a provider of solutions for secured transactions and a trusted partner in business outsourcing.

JOB TITLE: R&D SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Location: Singapore

Report to: Technical Software Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and research on company’s core digital identity and software enabler

· Develop documentation, tools and libraries in accordance with the company requirements for new product/ project

· Design, code, test and develop in accordance with company software architecture and procedure

· Extend pre-sales and technical support to various business groups in debugging and/or problem solving

· Attachment to the China team for a period of 3 months

· Participate as part of the China team on training of the proprietary facial recognition algorithm during that 3 months

· Conduct facial recognition training in Singapore for rest of colleagues involved in the project group

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

· Master’s degree in COMPUTER SCIENCE, COMPUTER ENGINEERING OR MATHEMATICS

· Preferably majoring or exposure in Machine Learning, DEEP LEARNING, Computer Vision

· Minimum 1~ 3 years in software development on Windows and Linux environment

· Preferably with knowledge and exposure to biometrics recognition

· Exposure to DEEP LEARNING FRAMEWORKS such as MXNet, Tensorflow etc.

· Programming skills in PYTHON, Java, C/C++ etc

· Software programming or scripting skills

· Familiar with Linux O.S. ENVIRONMENT especially in UBUNTU, CENTOS

· MUST BE competent in spoken and written CHINESE/MANDARIN LANGUAGE for work in China

· Is prepared to be attached to China for 3 months
