Hiring company is a Singapore government linked company, involved in managing the procurement and deployment of supplies & equipment.
Reports to: CEO
Location: Singapore, CBD
· Develop, establish, implement and enforce processes, policies and practices consistent with Company Procurement strategy; including standardizing of contracts, process, and systems; vendor selection criteria; vendor due diligence requirements, performance criteria and management reporting
· Source new products, identify and qualify potential new suppliers to make cost effective procurement
· Identify, review and enhance the procurement process and vendor management
· Provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes; and coordinate with other business functions to establish strong purchasing process with document control
· Work with stakeholders to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables
· Drive project to meet schedules, budget, manpower and quality targets
· Work with users, subject matter experts / Company workstream/s and management to determine and resolve issues associated with project implementation
· Conduct regular project reviews to recommend schedule changes, cost or resource adjustments when necessary
· Any other Ad-hoc tasks assigned
· >15 years of proven Indirect Procurement experience in well-established MNCs
· Experience in managing supply chain operations
· In-depth knowledge of procurement / souring contracts, invoicing, and shipping terms
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
· Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
· Highly organized and detail oriented.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong project management, communication and stakeholder management skills
· Able to influence and drive changes among operational and business stakeholders
