Every character has quirks or ticks imposed by parents, upbringing and life experiences. We call those bits of history and old scars Traits. These roleplaying descriptors are used by the player on appropriate tests, to either help or hinder their rolls - giving a small bonus to their roll, or making the test more difficult in return for Checks that may be spent later in camp.
