The 148th Regular meeting of Tokyo Metropolitan Toastmasters Club

We had a 148th meeting on April 23th at the Iwamoto-cho hohoemi plaza with 21 club members and 3 guests.

TMOM was conducted by TM Karxx. Though it was the first time for her to assume TMOM role, she prepared very well and facilitated the meeting very smoothly. Time management was also great.

TM Kinxx showed the word of the day, “Voluntary”and "Volunteer"

TM Satxx conducted “Good & New”. He gave members that speak up during "Good & New".

TM Katxx presented “News of the Week” about India. Her "News of the Week" was well prepared. India, U.K. and Japan have some partnership of news. There are some big problem about sanitary in India.

In the“Prepared Speech session”, 4 speakers had wonderful speeches.

1st: TM Honxx gave us a very inspired speech with the title of "Enjoy of a retired life" After the speech, we have to think lots of things with our family.

2nd: TM Hayxx "I'm on diet" She lost weight.One of the day, she had a bad experience of the dinner with her family at memorial day

3rd: TM Nagxx addressed for his students. Metro members were virtual of the students. The title of speech is " 生きていく上で大切なこと” This speech had two great messages for the students.

4th: TM Isoxx “キャベツ". The story started from a strong message. We were very surprised and laugh her address. She learned many things from some schools.

During ”Intermission”, members and guests enjoyed chatting with sweets from North Japan.

“Table Topics” session was conducted by TM Tomxx. She asked some questions about big earthquakes.

“Evaluation Session” was performed by TM Miyxx as a General Evaluator was great.

Evaluators and General Evaluator evaluated the speeches and the meeting with fruitful advices.

In the guest comments, some guests mentioned our club is good because the meetings are held in

the morning. Each guests told that they are interested in our club.
