We had a 113th meeting on January 24th at the Kojimachi Kumin-Kan with 19 club members and 7 guests. (Many guests!)
TMOM was conducted by TM Kayxx.
He adapted a sudden change of roles and organized the meeting very well.
TM Hosxx showed the word of the day, “soul-search”.
Even it was rare word, some TMs succeeded in weaving the word into their speeches.
TM Nakxx conducted “Good & New”.
He tried to make all participants to say short comments with prepared sentence, “I’m happy because,,,”. Time was not enough for his trial, but it was a great opportunity to warm up our facial muscles.
TM M. Kobxx presented timely“News of the Week” about terrorism. He not only referred to “IS” abduction of Japanese, but gave us insights with mix of old and new stories.
In the“Prepared Speech session”, 4 speakers had wonderful speeches.
1st: TM Kajxx of Senxx TMC voluntarily took the speaker the day before meeting. We were suprised to see his high-quality and informative speech about the secret of presentation, “3L”.
2nd: TM Negxx showed her love for “Cat”, with charming and humorous facial and body expressions.
3rd: TM Nakxx talked about how to 「自分で考える」. Drawing our interests with familiar story about her child, then she convinced us with well-structured logical tips in later part.
4th: TM Yagxx’s CC 10 memorial speech, “待てない女". The story started from weight gain, funny salsa episode, to connection between speaker and the audience.
Second speech was performed by TM Yasxx ,and she talked about “薬膳のすすめ(in Japanese)“.
During ”Intermission”, members and guests enjoyed seasonal "キット勝つと” and sweets from Kobe.
“Table Topics” session was conducted by TM T. Kobxx. He asked coping strategy for business troubles to 2 TMs and 2 guests. Their answers gave me great suggestions.
“Evaluation Session” was performed by TM Tomxx as a General Evaluator（1 st time).
Evaluators and General Evaluator evaluated the speeches and the meeting with fruitful advices. As TM Tomxx mentioned, we need more laugh and applauses.
In the guest comments, one guest from Korean TMC declared to enter our club!
And we welcomed two new members into our club with induction ceremony.
Next few months, we’ll have a lot of events. Debate WS, Club contests, and joint meeting with JETM.
