BARANGAY TINONGTONGAN

Earned its name from stepping on large logs that came from cut-down trees. The first inhabitants of Barangay Tinongtongan claimed that walking on the ground became challenging because the barangay was flooded with water due to extensive tree cutting, hence the need to stand in the logs to pass through and navigate the terrain. Derived from this historical background of the barangay came our name, “Tindog Tinongtongan."
