For long time I've considered it being clumsy inferior fighting (the thing like it have tank controls with very limited amount of moves and combos, and those moves and combos are keep changing throughout series with each installment too, are exhibit how unfinished and lame those moves and combos really are, and however much they keep being changed, it's keep being lame. Certain moves are ridiculous too, have unnatural twisted poses, etc). And I do like Mortal Kombat Unchained (Deception).
It's got at least certain deepness and diversity and tactical element with 3 styles available for each character. Yet once more lots of moves and styles are ridiculous but not all. Amount of moves are very limited even with 3 styles, thus much thus even shortening combos was considered as yet additional combo. If you try to play by mashing buttons at least at approximate plan and to see certain cool moves and combos then you are not gonna be able to do it (alike you do being able to do in other fightings, you just make few specific mastered moves, and mash buttons in approximate way about other stuff, and you to see cool versatile combos which are not thus random too since you doing mash in approximate way occasionally mixing it with few specific accurate strikes and combos. And about Mortal Kombat you never able to do it since of very few combos available, and you end up just by tank controls and few clumsy moves. Combo mechanique performance are unusual too and it's relies heavily on fast precise button pressing sequence regardless of time and strikes delivery execution, while in other fightings it's usually different since you can press much buttons throughout combos and exactly at precise moment of combo execution you need correct pressing of buttons and you need to time it good like). Yet however, it do have at least certain diversity of single strikes and few combos, and you can unleash a lot of versatile strikes after strikes as follow ups, and if not officially then like technically it's to be kind of combos. And can be it's add up more of certain specific tactical and precise element to it, which rely on taking exact distance and moment and making few accurate strikes, kind of combos which consist of follow ups, and real combos (the availability of additional combos, juggles combos, are making it more diverse actually). Have visible injuries. Fatalities are usually being most known thing and trademark stuff of Mortal Kombat. Environment levels (certain of which are interactive), graphic, and characters, are cool. Adventure mode is amazing, and it have original design of different worlds dimensions, conceptual diversity, elaborate maps, lots of additional characters from the game like, lots of quests and explorations and unlockables, good like graphic, fantastic music, etc. It's thus good like I've liked it way more than big names acclaimed RPGs Adventures games like. Mileena arcade completion vid have been spliced up once at last boss. In original one chunk walkthrough I've defeated last boss from 1st try, however I've decided to replace it by current segment since it looked slightly better, the segment I've got from other walkthrough and have used it to splice up. The last boss was not difficult actually same as to make whole walkthrough overall without losses. The most difficult thing about it was to complete it without having opponent doing harakiri. Almost always at least once throughout arcade route, enemy would do harakiri. However, I've done numerous resets and retries and eventually forced way through and got walkthrough without opponent doing harakiri.
