Life of a Thief

Waiting in the shadows, planning where they'll strike next, the mischievous Thieves are a force to reckon with. Swift and powerful, few can keep up with a Thief's attack speed and power. Striking them down isn't easy either, coupling their high flee with the ability to become invisible and poison their pursuers.

Early Days

After changing into a Thief just complete all the main and side quests available in Prontera, West Field and Culvert/Sewers especially those bard/minstrel a.k.a 300 monster kill quests. This is the fastest way to gain experience (both in-game knowledge and base/job experience) early in the game. You should be around +/- Lv20 when you are finished. Then move on to Izlude Quests, you will be roughly at Lv30+ when you are complete. When there are no more available quests grind monsters. Don't forget to claim that free warm food from food shop for you "Auto Pot" needs.

By level 40 your stats will most likely look like this.

Bow Path Stats

By level 40 your stats will most likely look like this.

(we highly recommend to stick to dagger for now)

Equipment (These bad boys can last you until level 90..of course with proper tier progression)

Fox Wrist Guard - Crafted in Morroc, 5% attack speed. Gotta Hit Fast

Full Black Dagger - Crafted in Prontera, Aim to upgrade it to Tier 2 as soon as possible for wow damage

Rogue Clothes - Crafted in Geffen (if you gonna main Dagger this is a good starter)

Tights - Crafted in Geffen (this one is gonna give you higher damage but is gonna be more expensive to tier up, also best for bow users)

Cotton Shirt - Crafted in Izlude (good for aspiring bow users especially ADL types)

Coat of Dragon Scale - Crafted in Morroc (starter cape for dagger types)

Shoes - Crafted in Geffen ( if you plan on spamming skills)

Clip - Prontera Rift or buy in Exchange (nice starting accesory for early damage boost)

Skills

Double Attack 10 - Double the damage double the fun

Improve Flee 10 - They can't kill you if they can't hit you

Hiding 10 - They can't Kill you if they can't see you

Ambush 10 - If going dagger rogue

Envenom 10 - if going bow rogue

Monsters To Grind

Willows level 21 - Prontera west Field/ Labyrinth

Grind this Mofo Until Level 40 if you want to.

1 shot wonder with your Double Attack

Mandragon level 22 - Labyrinth - Same as willows. Fast kill fast Exp

Hydra level 23 - Undersea Cave/Sunken Ship/Payon cave

Wolf level 24 - Labyrinth - CTRL + V

Tip

Fast Kill means Fast Exp, Speed will compensate level penalty

Cooking

Nothing feels more rewarding than fighting with a full belly.

ill keep it simple learn how to cook by doing the culinary quest inside prontera castle and start cooking one of my favorite dish FANTASY SEA FOOD KEBAB. This bad boy adds 30 attack and some movement speed per stack and only ingredients are: VADON MEAT, MARINA MEAT, SALT and SUGAR.
