Hello and Welcome to the Grimtooth Guide!

This section focuses on the GT of it all!

This is the most intriguing and by far one of the existing metas even when guillotine cross comes out.

WHY???

Because it is such a bad ass skill that you execute it in hidden state... NOW WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

Remember Survival as I mentioned is moderate for assassins because we HIDE and BACKSLIDE.

Now, lets start with a few things of the bat, for starters GT is:

1. Is executed only from hide

2. Is an AOE Skill

3. Is much better used when you have Advanced Hiding

4. Is only usable by Katars

5. Is hit dependent

6. Is better with ignore def gear

7. Is convertible with elem converters

8. It is usable with Size, race, and elem cards

9. Is a melee ranged skill.

10. It is usable with poison cast as long as you are under the influence of poison enchant.

11. Is a BAD ASS MOFO SKILL

Since we know what it is lets define what its not:

1. It is not dependent on the characters crit rate rather it depends on crit chance from runes

2. It is not usable by daggers.

3. It is not blockable by pneuma.

4. It is not enhanced by ranged enchants.

Whats the main point of Grimtooth, well farming, pvp and woe, the only downside of the skill is it requires runes and gear to enhance it.

I. Stats, Gears and Skills

Stats:

99 Strength

60-80 dex

Remaining points go to either agi or vit depending on what you feel.

Stats: (PVP)

90 Dex Total (if you lack hit ideally add more dex, most gt builds can survive with low strength and high agi, vit and dex)

60-70 Agi Base

80-99 strength

Vit Remaining

Gears:

The main gear that you will use for this is blood tears: (Screen Shot Below)

This is because the katar's tiers adds damage to Grimtooth. (well any added damage is good)

As for the remaining gear you can check out the ignore def gear from either from the assassins guide or the daggers guide, or the Katar guide...... so take your pick cause i'm not listing that shit again.

Off Hand: Rose Princess Bracer

Armor: Ninja Suit 2 +5 (minimum) +10(Optimal) +15(Best)

Garment: Ancient Cape

Shoes: Stauch Shoes | Teddy Sack Shoes

Accessories: Luna Brooches (SP), Str Rings, Dex gloves, Fairy In bottle(in case you want an expensive shit that gives hit)

Headgear: Cat Ear Beret, Majestic Goat, Orc Hero Helm (if you can get it to 10), Rudolph Antlers (Stormy Knight Drop)

Mid: Masquerade, Hockey Mask

Mouth: Spiked Scarf

Now why advanced hiding, well this skill is key to letting you use Grimtooth out of hiding state, it helps you use the skills for longer.

II. Runes

Now for GT Runes, the priority of the runes follow this path:

1. Grimtooth Critical Chance and Damage 5 runes adds 25% crit chance and 140% Crit Damage

2. Grimtooth Damage 5 runes adds 35% more damage to Grimtooth

Cheapest and closest Grimtooth rune is 16 gold medal 7800 contribution

In terms of Numbers:

Grimtooth Critical Chance and Damage - 21900 Contribution and 56 Gold Medal

Grimtooth Damage - 50550 Contribution and 106 Gold Medal

Now always take the priority of the crit chance and damage, as this is shookt.

The only thing that will irritate you to no end is the chance to get unhidden from the skill itself. Hence one of the reasons why I stopped using it as Guillotine Cross, also was bored.. HAHAHAHA
