So you decided to be a Genetecist eh? Tell me...you were enamoured by Lif right!? You nufty ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
Well, then. Grab your bottles, pull your cart, and get ready to throw your zennies!!! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
No, really. You'll throw zennies for this job. Like any other job, you'll spend a lot of zennies to make your toon strong. But Alchemists are special.
You need bottles and special cards and equipment to make your life be more...uhhhh...bearable.
Okay. So first things first.
I suggest you go Str-Agi-Dex for your build and auto-attack monsters.
Or you can take the path of Cart Attack and go Str-Dex build.
Do whatever you like. Do quests and stuff til you become Alchemist.
Now, to the good part.
So now you're an Alchemist. Now what? I know what you're thinking. TIME TO SUMMON LI..... NO!!!
As much as you want to summon Lif for your perverted and selfish reasons, your grinding and farming life will suffer.
Summoning Lif will not benefit your toon as much as an Amistr.
Lif's skills are just heal and second-rate Kyrie. While Amistr provokes enemies and gives you attack boost. And don't even think of getting Vanilmirth.
Vanilmirth's skills are a bit unreliable at this time since it casts random bolts and you need Magic Atk which is the total opposite of what you need on your bread-and-butter skill: Sphere Parasitic
Basically, you'll be stuck with Shawn the Sheep and Sphere Parasitic for the rest of your miserable Alchemist and Creator life.
Like for real. It's the most efficient grinding/farming build there is.
For this build you want to max out your STR and get as much as P. Atk as possible in order for you to one-hit mobs. Also, enough DEX to hit.
I didn't have any problem with grinding at 30 DEX.
The most important item you need is the MULTIPLICATION CARD. It negates the bottle requirement for Sphere Parasitic.

Weapon: Holy Dagger / Elemental AxeOff-hand: Rosa BraceletArmor: Alchemist Alloy Armor / TightsGarment: Ancient CapeShoes: Shoes / Rune BootsHeadgear: Cat Ear BeretAccessoires: Str Ring / Lunatic BroochWhy Holy Dagger? Holy Dagger has a unique effect that increases your P. Atk at certain number of STR. And since we will max STR, this will greatly benefit us. Also, daggers have a good modifier (100/75/50) in terms of grinding/farming since most mobs are either small or medium.
Why Elemental Axe? Sphere Parasitic is not forced neutral. Meaning it is affected by your element. Either by using elemental converters or elemental weapons. It will also benefit from the Axe Mastery skill.
Rosa Bracelet and Ancient Cape for ignore defense.
Use Shoes with Eggyra Card to help maintain SP. Rune Boots for end-game as it boost both P. Atk and M. Atk.
Cat Ear Beret for Atk Boost.
Use Lunatic Brooch for a boost in SP and SP regen. Str Ring for boost in damage.

Maximize Sphere Parasitic
1. Use Multiplication Card in your weapon slot. It negates the bottle requirement of Sphere Parasitic. Either you buy it in market or craft it. GET IT!!!2. Use elemental advantage either by using converters or elemental weapons.3. If you have 2-slotted weapon, use one slot for cards against humanity...err i mean against your targeted monster.Hydra Card against demi-humansMandragora Card against wind property monstersMenblatt Card against earth property monstersDesert Wolf Card against small monsters4. Get sphere runes. You need at least 76 Gold Badges and 42,600 contributions to max out sphere parasitic runes.
