Formerly known as Thule AB, Pituffik Space Base is a U.S. Air Force base located on the northwest coast of Greenland. The airport has been completely rebuilt. Runway, taxiways, aprons, parking all updated. Runway approach lighting updated. Asphalt runway shoulder added. Many buildings and other objects added. Removed the small lake to the north of the base. Also flattened an area northwest of the base where the large fuel tanks are located. Modifications based on airport charts and satellite imagery.
