Flight dynamics have been modified based on official Boeing technical specifications and hours of testing. Many updates and improvements. Original AI aircraft made by UTT. Please see the Readme file.
Boeing 787-9 RR Modification
This is a freeware Boeing 787. The AI model was developed by UTT and has been made flyable. The VC was updated by Alejandro Rojas Lucena. VC panel and gauge mods by Ken Wiggington, Phillippe Marion, and myself.
Aircraft engine sounds are not included.
The GPWS and Groundhandling gauges were made by Rob Barendregt. The Jelair Vspeeds gauge was made by Jacob Larsen.

I have made the following modifications:
1. Removed the built-in landing lights which blast the VC with bright light and added stock landing lights in the aircraft config file. Changed most attached light effects to modified stock effects and included the UTT effects for the wing/engine and taxi lights.
2. Removed several AI animations and fixed the elevator, rudder, aileron, spoiler, and flaps animations.
3. Moved VC to correct forward position and height for the 787-9.
4. Modified the empty and max weight as well as the passenger and cargo loads, adjusted load positions to maintain a correct CG range.. The loads are set up for app. 280 passengers plus luggage and other cargo.
5. Changed the moments of inertia for more realistic feel and handling.
6. Adjusted the reference datum position, engine positions, and fuel tank positions.
7. Corrected airplane geometry values.
8. Adjusted gear contact points and static cg height.
9. Set engine thrust to correct value for the Trent 1000-D, added additional fuel flow gain entries for a longer and more realistic engine start sequence, set engine inlet area to correct value, changed min throttle limit for more realistic reverser thrust, and adjusted engine fuel flow for accurate fuel consumption.
10. Modified the fuel tank values to reflect the fuel quantity for the 787-9. Enabled electric fuel pumps which can be turned on/off on the overhead panel.
11. Updated flap and slat values to reflect 787-9 actual settings and adjusted scalars for realistic performance.
12. Adjusted some flight tuning scalar values for more realistic handling and behavior.
13. Changed toe brake scale for more realistic braking effect.
14. Adjusted some autopilot values.
15. Enabled electric hydraulic pump and enabled wing deicing.
16. Removed the wing folding, tailhook, and smokesystem sections. Added the contrail effect to the effects section.
17. Added some VC views and adjusted some view positions and zoom levels.
18. Added the GPWS, Groundhandling, and Jelair Vspeed gauges to the panel.
19. Adjusted the EGT max temp and scalar in the AIR file to display the GEnx 1B engine EGT more accurately.
20. Adjusted the Total Drag and landing gear drag in the AIR file for more realistic climb and cruise behavior.
21. Corrected exits section in the cfg file.
22. Modified the EICAS gauge code to redline the EGT at the correct temperature and to redline engine N1 and N2 at the correct RPM, added "AUTOSTART" and "RUNNING" indications during and after engine start.
23. Modified the Annunciator Master gauge code to only activate the Icing warning if the temperature is below 5C *and* it is raining, snowing, or the plane is in clouds, and adjusted the EGT temperature level that triggers the master caution light.
24. Replaced the VC overhead panel with the Ken Wiggington panel which has indicator lights and power readings, replaced the overhead popup panel with the Phillipe Marion panel, replaced the Backup PFD with a better one, and replaced the Attitude Backup with the Standby Altimeter.
The modifications were made based on official aircraft specifications contained in Boeing documents. The aircraft was tested using P3Dv6, but should work fine in P3Dv4-6 and possibly even earlier versions and FSX.
