At least two years have passed since West Visayas State University (WVSU) - College of Communication (COC) held the last in-person interview and aptitude test. This 2022, thousands of hopefuls went through the admission process of taking tests, yet only a select few were chosen to proceed to an in-depth interview and performance test. Their capacity as aspirants to enroll in WVSU was challenged and scrutinized. Every student with the potential in careers of journalism, broadcasting, or communication development were critically chosen by the faculty.
In opening new opportunities to those who strive to enter the WVSU COC, one hundred thirty-four (134) aspirants were qualified to be part of the college.
Particularly, there are forty (40) qualified students for the Bachelor of Science in Development Communication, forty-four (44) in the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and fifty (50) in the Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting in the offered program of the department.
College of Communication humbly welcomes and wishes the best of luck on the journey of the incoming freshmen. May you start your journey with grit and determination, in the name of truth and justice as part of the college coined - βThe Voice of the Universityβ.
