Emma Winder

Emma's love of dance started at the age of 3 as she was put into her first ballet class, and from then on her love for dance never died. 

A couple years on she begun exploring more styles of dance particularly loving jazz and contemporary along with ballet. Emma danced competitively for over 6 years in multiple dance styles starting at the age of 6. 

Emma has been lucky to be given two opportunities to perform with the Royal New Zealand Ballet in 2016 (Wizard of Oz) and in 2017 (Romeo and Juliet). Emma has done many different dance exams over the years such as RAD ballet exams, NZAMD jazz and contemporary exams, and AJDA and DNZM jazz exams. 

Emma is very much looking forward to teaching at the Creative to share her passion and knowledge with the young upcoming dancers in hopes for them to find the same love for dance she did and still has.
