This is inside Calvary Chapel Eldoret on a Sunday Morning.

Mark 16:15 “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Our mission is to talk about Jesus to every living creature so that they too can experience the hope we have in Jesus Christ. For some that may mean telling their cashier at a grocery store, while for others it means traveling internationally to share the gospel, but what does it look like to travel around the world to share the gospel?

Well, this summer I have the opportunity to take a 2-week mission trip to Kenya, and would like to tell you all about the preparation it takes before even stepping into the airport.
On June 13, I step on a plane to go to Eldoret, Kenya with 16 other high schoolers from my youth group, but I have already had so much work to do so that I am prepared for when the plane lands. After being accepted on to the trip back in January, the first thing my team started to do was raise money. Every Sunday for 8 weeks we would get together and pack Soft Pretzels and sell them to our congregation after all 3 services. It was a blast(and delicious). While we are in Kenya, we will be teaching Sunday School, running a VBS, and going out onto the street to preach the gospel, plus many other things. So far, my group has been working on preparing the lessons we will teach for Sunday School, and the overall message of what we will cover at the VBS.
The most important part of our trip is not the meeting and preparation, or the monetary funds, it is prayer. Twice a month our team meets up and prays over this church. We also pray that our hearts would be ready to share the hope that we have, that the church would be welcoming, and that there would be nothing to hinder the gospel. If we cross your mind please lift us in your prayers.
That is what a missions trip looks like at my church! If you are interested in learning more about it you can message me through CPA messaging!
Many students look forward to the day they graduate and can either enter the workforce or go to college, but is it possible to start doing those while still in high school? Hannah Craven covered in previous CPA Post publications how you can do dual enrollment in high school and how doable it is, which I highly recommend checking out if you are interested. Today, I am covering the other side of the coin of working throughout the school year and just how you can do it.
This month's silly comics were made by EEE. Thank you so much!! (I think these are pretty clever myself. :P)
