Since the start of the 51st reunions in January 2014 we have been collecting photographs of ourselves in those days, of RAF Hereford covering all aspects of our lives.

These make a nice - if slightly repetitive (ex BEs eating and drinking) memory bank. Though sadly they contain the last ever image of us together, as we lose members, year on year.

MORE THAN JUST MEMORIES OF A DAY

We now know that we could go MUCH further - tracking the RAF and civilian lives of us all - 99.

Since January 2014, we have collected images of the reunions themselves.

All in all it is a large body of material and now we shall try to make some sense of it by grouping the material into individual 'Albums' (Xntres) with narratives running alongside groups of photographs.

So - rather than turning this into a 'huge' - virtually endless site - which could not really be done on a free platform - we are surrounding this HUB - whose identifying - and contribution - email is the51strafbes@gmail.com with several 'planets' .

These are called online 'Xntres' - i.e. online centres.

Each deal with major topics in a way that is easy to navigate to and around.

Each Xntre follows almost exactly the same form and pattern.

And so once (when they are all completed) - you have looked around the 2016 Reunion Xntre (for example) you will pretty much know what to expect when you look at that for 2019, or even the 1964-65 Xntre.
