“CHAT der WELTEN” is a project which has the goal of connecting the youths of all continents to try and gain a better understanding of what our shared history is. In our particular case, we had the chance to contact a school in Namibia.

On the 24th april 2024 NMS hosted the annual “Fashion Revolution Day” The Abitur Kunst LK amazed the entire school with their self-made, upcycled fashion line, that they modelled themselves. Between daring cut-outs, colourful patchwork and flared jeans, one couldn’t decide where to look first. 

Excitement filled the air as the fifth and sixth-grade students took their places on stage at the highly anticipated Winter Concert. This year’s event was nothing short of breathtaking and showcased the dedication and talent of these young musicians and their teachers.

As the directors of the “Musikabend” stated, the concert was intended to not only represent the pleasant moments in life but also to take you to various places. It did just that, it made me forget about my worries and allowed me to enjoy the pure talent of the young artists. But the concert did not stay true to its name or its purpose to show you the delightful sides of life. 

In between the lengthy process of passing resolutions, delegates finding out that Schoko Bons aren't vegetarian, the chair's paper tearing skills, and knuckles being avidly knocked against the table (the MUN equivalent of applause), the delegates showed professionalism during the heated debate of this years NelMUN conference.
