Park in the third car park heading East from the Heights Hotel at New ground. Cross the road and head approximately south across the grassy area to find the edge of a disused quarry. Head left to a point you can scramble down stacked blocks into the quarry. At floor level head to the right to find a quarried cliff face and then follow this to the right amongst bushes & brambles until the floor level entrance resembling an undercut at the base of the cliff is found.
The low entrance immediately opens into a 2 m wide, low chamber. On the far side a route through boulders leads to a standing height rift chamber. A climb directly above leads to a circular high level chamber. The obvious continuation ahead at floor level between boulders leads to a second rift chamber and the end of the cave.
