If you have Partnership Health Plan for health insurance you may be eligible to get transportation to and from you appointments.
A transportation specialist will answer any questions you have about transportation and will help address any problems you may have related to your transportation needs.
The Transportation Services Department coordinates non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), non-medical transportation (NMT), gas mileage reimbursement, and other travel-related services for our members. It is our responsibility to get you to your medically necessary, Medi-Cal covered services using the least costly method of transportation that meets your needs.

Medi-Cal offers transportation to and from appointments for services covered by Medi-Cal. This includes transportation to medical, dental, mental health, or substance use disorder appointments, and to pick up prescriptions and medical supplies.
There are two types of transportation for appointments:
Nonmedical transportation (NMT) is transportation by private or public vehicle for people who do not have another way to get to their appointment.
Nonemergency medical transportation (NEMT) is transportation by ambulance, wheelchair van, or litter van for those who cannot use public or private transportation.
