Q. Using only an outside-in perspective, think about a person with dementia who gets lost easily. How might you intervene?

A. Typical Intervention when looking only from the outside in: A person with dementia who gets lost easily is often placed in a secure unit so that they can’t leave.

When we add looking from the inside out, that is, looking at the world through the eyes of a person living with dementia, we will come up with additional solutions.
