“The pen is mightier than the sword." — Edward Bulwer-Lytton
In any conflict, information holds the key. A well-informed side can craft strategies and plan with precision, and that's why our work in the press is so crucial. A newspaper, after all, delivers the essential knowledge that shapes decisions and actions, providing further knowledge on the problems, that have been weighing our Earth, causing the brink of existence and putting a stop to socio-economic development factors, enraging the muffled voices and cries for help.
As the Chief Editor and Press head of the press team, I’m proud to be a part of a group that gathers and refines the news from every committee, ensuring that our readers receive only the most accurate and well-crafted stories. At TES MUN, we believe in the power of communication, and it’s our mission to ensure that every voice is heard and valued. I am fully committed to upholding these standards in my role. I am confident that collaboration between the Press and the IT Team will bring this visionary idea to life. Finally, I would like to extend my best wishes to all members of the dais panel and participating delegates as I commit to performing my duties as the press head to the best of my abilities.
“A word after a word after a word is power.” -Margaret Atwood
I have always been a believer of the quote and being a member of the Press team I have done my work by it. Journalism is a form of literature but along with that, it is the urgency to inform and give accurate pieces of information and facts rather than just to entertain. Being the Deputy Press Head of MUN 2024 has allowed me to explore the nooks and crannies of the journalism world. The hustle, chaos, and energy everybody carried to provide the news story every day was what defined the Press Team this year.
To issue the finest of the finest work every member has worked very hard. I am proud to help my colleagues and guide my juniors. Although journalism is not a smooth sailing boat I have learned to handle the highs and lows.

"Journalism is about telling the stories of people who otherwise wouldn’t be heard." — Nina Berman
TESMUN stands out for its promotion of diplomatic dialogue and critical thinking, offering a platform for meaningful discussions from diverse viewpoints. I, being the deputy head editor of the PRESS Team 2024 have had a true realization and experience of the form of bustle and the teamwork to produce exceptional works by pulling ourselves together and to strive for the best. Our responsibility involves quickly gathering updates from different committees and refining the content to deliver the best possible version to our readers. We are devoted to presenting exceptional news stories that truly resonate. This role has been a gratifying experience, enhancing my understanding of how impactful words can be in shaping ideas and driving change.
This journey has been hard-fought and I hope to deliver my best until the very end.

“In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.” – George Orwell
Knitting together stories and publishing them is in its place, but bringing together facts of the world and building a tall brick wall for everyone to see the truth is truly a commendable act. This is the act that the press team has aimed for and I have had the pleasure of leading and working with them for the past few weeks. Being the deputy press head of MUN 2024, I have seen the ups and downs, the press team has gone through. Even through all the hard times, the press team has done an excellent job to get back on its feet and plough forward in the journey.
This has helped define the press and made bringing the intricate truth in front of the eyes of all possible. We will continue to do so as a team and report all events in every committee as our responsibility.
