“The UN was not created to take mankind to heaven but to save humanity from hell” -Dag Hammarskjold
It is my great joy and pleasure to welcome you to the Disarmament and International Security Committee of 2081.DISEC has become renowned for its passionately voiced disputes and discussions, which allow each delegate to demonstrate their full capacity, independence, and ability to elevate their nation inside the committee. This year's DISEC, on the other hand, paints a different picture, with delegates working together to participate in vital discussions on global peace and security rather than pouring fuel into the fire of violence. This year's delegates aim not only to be the best but also to produce practical resolutions that represent the diverse views of all nations on the committee. This year's DISEC aims to give its fellow delegates a taste of real-world politics, seeing the situations from both sides of the conflicts and working with their allies and block countries alike to find global solutions to the age-old problems that have plagued humanity for years.
This year, DISEC hopes to provide its fellow delegates with an accurate understanding and experience of real-world politics, seeing things from both sides' perspectives and learning to collaborate with allies and blocks to provide global solutions to conflicts and wars that have haunted humanity for centuries.
While I consider myself extremely fortunate to be the chairman of such an esteemed committee, I feel even more honored to lead such talented minds on a new chapter of TES MUN`s incredible history.
Best wishes,

“In a world brimming with weapons, disarmament is the most powerful act of faith in humanity's ability to resolve differences without resorting to violence.”

Remember, the delegate you represent is not only a country but is the country for whose justice you are standing for.

“Worries end where the faith begins”
Distinguished delegates, It is an exciting journey MUN has brought us to welcome the fresh minds with a wider perspective.
A world that was once a sanctuary from the storm has now become the storm itself,
A world once united by all is now a place where the tears have become the source of irrigation, the swords have become plough, and we’re all growing this plant of acrimony which we all are feeding off of.
So we invite the fresh minds, the creative ideas, the logic, the discipline, the words and the voice; to help us unite, help us resolve this, and finally make the world coalesce in peace.
Faith is what binds us together, truth is what defines us. Fidelity is what we believe in and justice is what we fight for. Let's come together to show your skill, with will.
Warm Regards,
Pranati Thapa
