 The LP-1 representative incited a heated debate on the floor by accusing the opposition party of being unaware of Nepal's socioeconomic problems and sociocultural problems.

Delegate of Gokul Prasad Baskota (Timothy Rajiv Kandel) embarked the discussion of the committee setting an agenda on “Nepal’s societal issues and their socio-economic consequences.” in LP I. The delegate presented the GSL including the delegate's stance on the topic and his commitment to fostering ICT in Nepal and infrastructure development.

“Gokul Prasad Baskota (Timothy Rajiv Kandel) has developed several roads and infrastructures including Mahendra Highway. Being a member of the house of representatives, the delegate has been working in ICT development increasing the security of Nepal.” the delegate of Gokul Prasad Baskota stated.

The delegate of Prithvi Subha Gurung(Sherap Gurung) followed by the delegate of Rabi Lamichhane(Simaran Devkota), Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai(Sofia Roka), Madhav Kumar Nepal(Suyog Acharya) and Jwala Kumari Shah(Pratyush Jung Rayamajhi) gave the GSL and were bombarded with questions and accusations regarding the delegate’s adherence to economic stability, promote justice and elimination of discrimination.

The delegate of Gagan Kumar Thapa(Yubin K.C) stated“ The Nepali Congress has implemented several policies and projects to protect women from violence.”

As  the time for GSL collapsed, the delegate of Bishwa Prakash Shrama(Namgel Tamang) raised a motion to start the moderated caucus on the topic of “Corruption”. As the Moderated caucus continued the Congress party was heavily criticized by the Maoist party. The Congress party defended themselves as they were the most attacked party. 

The delegate of Sita Gurung (Prasanna Budathoki) defended the Congress party by questioning the delegates of the Maoist party questioning,“The civil war was started by a Maoist party, they could have just done it by peace, why did they have to kill over 17,000 civilians?”As the delegate of Sita Gurung(Prasanna Budathoki) accused the whole party of Maoist. 

The delegate of Pushpa Kamal Dahal(Rujal Ojha) threw a big accusation towards Sher Bahadur Deuba (Kritish Ghimire) and the whole Congress party.

The delegate of Upendra Yadav (Dhiki Khando Lama) threw a huge accusation of disappearance of CCTV footage of Financial mismanagement to Janardan Sharma(Aashmi Gurung). The delegate of Janardan Sharma(Aashmi Gurung) made a counter attackattacked  and defended themselves..

“Is the Money machine damaged or is there corruption going on?” the KP Shrama Oli(Dilasha Oli) questioned the Maoist party

The committee stayed active throughout the moderated caucus and all the delegates were eager to accuse the opposing party. The delegate of Gyan Bahadur Shahi (Shubham G.C) asked “How can a major party accuse a small party like RPP who have been involved in corruption cases?” While the delegate was speaking, the delegate of Ramesh Lekhak(Shriyan Basnet)was suspended by the chair of the committee for violating the decorum of the committee.

 Again, the delegate of Gyan Bahadur Shahi (Shubham G.C) raised a motion to start a moderated caucus on the topic “Politics and involvement  in corruption and human right violation.” The committee argued about different political entities being involved in corruption and human right violation. 

“Talking about justice,what has happened to the Nirmala Panta case? It has been years and years and KP Sharma Oli (Dilasha Oli) has taken the responsibility for the case” asked Gyan Bahadur Shahi (Shubham G.C).

The committee brought out the case of Niramala Panta and other human violation cases in the committee. 

As the committee heated up the delegates' voices rose to defend and create the accusations.

The delegate of  Juli Kumari Mahato (Sonam Maharjan) adjourned the committee as the time ended. The delegates started to prepare for resolution, it was all chaotic. The CN-UML and Congress made one resolution while the Maoist made the other resolution. After the presentation of the resolution, it came to a conclusion that the resolution 4.2(CPN-UML and Congress) got passed with a proper two -third majority. The first session of MUN passed as the committee ended.
