Following the last day for session one, the delegates of HRC were led to the committee with a moderated caucus where many powerful voices were heard on different sectors.
The formal session was moving smoothly until the delegate of China (Eshan Sharma) interrupted with a loud question on South Sudan (Aayush Paudel) with their opinions about a crime accusation to an innocent girl who tried to inherit the land but instead got molested by the owner. This topic went on the committee for a while until India (Aadriti Shrestha) spoke against their ally and taking the opportunity the delegate of Pakistan (Abhilasha Rajaure) also spoke with full voice stating the country has no rights on accusing others judging by their own state.
The moderated caucus went well until the remaining participants who were left for the GSL came back, then the moderated caucus ended for a while. The main speakers of the day were delegates of Ukraine (Ananya Ghimire),Switzerland (Angella Dolma Lama), and Iran (Akina Ghimire).
In these speakers main question landed on the delegate of Ukraine where the delegate got asked several questions about un-investigated crimes based on gender violence, individuals not getting the proper right that they have in their educational, physical and economical state but all of the excitement went to vein when the delegate chosen to answer the question based off the provided chits.
After the current discussions the delegates were asked to prepare a minute presentation on the topic “Impact of educational system in gender equality” where the new voices were heard from Bangladesh (Abhirup Tuladhar) and Nigeria (Aaradhya Singh Karki) . The heated argument was ongoing in the committee as delegates of Israel (Alvin Maharjan) , USA (Hardik Kharel), China (Eshan Sharma), India (Aadriti Shrestha) and Pakistan (Abhilasha Rajaure) were debating continuously.
The committee went smooth and fine until some of the delegates stopped pointing out their views and kept quiet. After the silence a new moderated caucus was raised again which managed to keep the committee on its right track.
It was also mentioned that there will be new provisions made in this matter that would include the sectors left behind before.
