This project was about choosing a new technology. I am fascinated with generative Ai so I chose a branch off it with Agentic Ai and Multimodal Ai. Agentic Ai is basically Ai that now has autonomy. Which is a scary thought by itself. This Ai is given room to grow and solve solutions and develop which allows it to process and understand what people want better. Multimodal Ai takes multiple different types of inputs like textual, graphical, visual and turns it into a cohesive output in whatever form you want. It's really cool but scary how realistic it looks.
Some interesting things I learned/never really thought of is, while I knew Ai like this could pose some serious threats and issues if used incorrectly, the abuse of it and the things that could lead to. I was thinking of security risks and how people can use this in court as evidence if they had a grudge with you but one of the first things that came up was actually people using it to make child porn. It's sick to think this is something someone would create but with how realistic it is it's not unbelievable that someone would.
I learned just how bad I am at presenting. I sound so awkward and really need to practice speaking fluidly and finding the right words. I also found out that this form of Ai is relatively new. I honestly thought this was formed way before the 2020s and that it just wasn't released but it was only released in 2023 and beyond. It is shocking how quick Ai technology has developed since the 2020s. ChatGPT being the first major Ai chatbot other than Siri though she had a lot of limitations.
