Information System (IS) 

• Definition: An integrated set of components for collecting, storing, and processing data and for providing information, knowledge, and digital products

Learning Management System (LMS) 

• Definition: A software application used to organize and distribute e-learning materials, assignments, and assessments; track and calculate grades and facilitate communication among students and teachers

User Interface (UI) 

• Definition: The means by which the user and a computer system interact, in particular the use of input devices and software

Waffle (as related to user interfaces) 

• Definition: A menu looking like a grid usually used as a menu or shortcut to other applications, helps with navigation

Hamburger (as related to user interfaces) 

• Definition: Looks like 3 stacked horizontal lines. It’s used generally as a meny or sidebar drawer

CC 

• Definition: Means carbon copy. This means it sends a visible copy of the email to the recipients

BCC 

• Definition: Blind carbon copy. This means it sends a hidden copy of the email to recipients without showing their name
