Accuracy of Knowledge: At this point this is common knowledge and was a big news story due to the FBI director being the one hacked.
Purpose and Objectivity: This article was written with facts and statements to back its claims up. This was written to inform the public of the news and remained objective not taking sides politically.
In one of the most embarassing cyberattacks the US has faced, their own FBI director was hacked through his emails. In a retailiation for the recent war that has been started the Iranian government has hacked into Kash Patel's emails. The photo to the left is one of the leaked photos from this hacking. This just shows how susceptible we are as an individual if even an FBI director can be hacked so easily. We can protect ourselves by deleting random emails, looking for mispellings in the emails, and not clicking on any suspicious links sent through emails.

Researchers have discovered a new technique hackers are using called DarkSword. This is a malware tool that attacks iPhones with older IOS systems at multiple different points. It first goes through the safari browser and does what is called a hit and run and downloads much of your data in that time. It targets IOS users older than version 18.4 to 18.7. These hackers are mainly from Russia and China and have yet to reach America yet as far as they know. How people can protect against these attacks are by updating the IOS to the current or newer version or by using lockdown mode if you require higher protection.

I learned just how easy it is for hackers and just how important it is to understand what kind of privacy you have on your account. As well as keeping your phone up to date so that the systems have better security programs.
