Self Portraits
A self‑portrait is a special kind of artwork where an artist draws or paints themselves. It’s like taking a picture, but with crayons, markers, paint, or anything you love to use. When you make a self‑portrait, you’re showing the world who you are — your smile, your hair, your favorite colors, and even your feelings.
Artists all over Alabama and all around the world make self‑portraits to tell their stories. Some look just like the artist, and some are silly, colorful, or full of imagination. There’s no wrong way to make one. Your self‑portrait is your story on paper, and it’s as unique as you are.
