JULY 20th-24th
Artists don’t always need paint or crayons — sometimes, nature gives us everything we need. When we make art from found items, we look for little treasures outside like leaves, sticks, rocks, pinecones, flowers, or acorns. Then we use those natural pieces to create pictures, patterns, or sculptures.
Nature art helps us slow down and notice the shapes, colors, and textures all around us. A curved stick can become a smile, a bright leaf can become a wing, and a smooth stone can become the center of a flower. Every piece of nature has a story, and when we put them together, we make a brand‑new one.
When you create art from found items, you’re using your imagination and the beauty of the outdoors to make something unique, creative, and totally your own!
