Activity

Norman Rockwell illustrated American current events for the Evening Post. Students will create their own “Saturday Evening Post” with an American 250 year old celebration illustration. For example: they can illustrate a picture of their family watching the fireworks, having a 4th of July celebration, the American flag with their family pledging. The goal is to have a picture with people in it and a symbol of America. Write the “Saturday Evening Post” at the top in black marker for each student.
