The World of Tomorrow is also a world to take your taste buds beyond. Elzar's Fine Cuisine offers a finer taste of the future, The Slurm Spot rides the trends with flashy fast food, and Panucci's Pizza is there with the classic standard of a New York slice.
Elzar is one of the biggest chefs in town, and he has brought the taste of Neptune to New New York with this table service restaurant. With an exterior façade that’s reminiscent of New Orleans architecture, guests step inside to find a solidly high-class atmosphere compared to most of New New York. Something really striking, however, are the “windows” (actually screens) into the kitchen. Through these “windows”, guests can watch Elzar hard at work preparing these top-notch meals, even giving them his signature BAM! courtesy of a Spice Weasel.
For his restaurant, Elzar is bringing a strong dash of his Neptunian cooking, which means a menu inspired by seafood and Cajun recipes. The meals start us off with simple appetizers like Cajun shrimp toast and oyster fritters, before knocking it up a notch with entrees such as chicken-and-sausage gumbo, shrimp scampi linguine, and The Unnamable Horror from Beyond with Mango Chutney (soft-shell crab with mango chutney and a side of fried calamari). It all goes down easy with an array of soft drinks and sparkling juices to wash down these hearty meals, or polished off with a dessert like some Black Hole Beignets (beignets topped with chocolate powder).
So, if you need a top-notch meal in New New York, then knock things up a notch and stop by Elzar’s Fine Cuisine. BAM!
(Jazz design)
Slurm isn’t just conquering the soft drink market anymore! Now, thanks to partnership deals with fast food chains like Fishy Joe’s, Slurm has hit the fast food scene with The Slurm Spot. With holographic ads featuring Slurms McKenzie to help grab the eye, guests step inside to find a quick service diner that’s been inspired by the most extreme period of human history: the 1990s! The Jazz design (associated with Dixie cups) are splashed across the walls, as jukeboxes play some of the classic hits of the 1990s. There’s also a totally gnarly menu with food options featuring your favorite 1990s slang, like the Booyah Burger (a double cheeseburger), Da Bomb Fries (French fries with Cajun seasoning), and the Chill Pill (a vanilla milkshake with chocolate chips). There’s even Popplers (fired shrimp bites) on the menu! Coke products and water are available for drink options, but don’t forget to order yourself a fresh cup of Slurm (ginger limeade with green coloring)!
The Slurm Spot: It’s highly addictive!
It wouldn’t be New York without a pizza place, and Panucci’s Pizza has got you covered. Situated along the pathway between Central Park and Futurama: The World of Tomorrow, this pizza place may have seen better days but it still offers some good food. You can order pizza by the slice (with classic topping choices such as cheese, pepperoni, or mushrooms) or a full pie for your party. There’s also pasta options available for those not in a pizza mood, such as penne and rigatoni. Meanwhile, there are a variety of soda options and water to help wash down that tasty Italian food. Don’t forget to enjoy the ambience of this humble establishment, like the classic red and white checkered tablecloths and the arcade machines in the corner. Whether it’s the 21st century or the 31st century, there’s always time for a slice and Panucci’s Pizza delivers on that.
