Mission: Southern Virginia Robotics (SVR) is an organization that is committed to inspiring students to build skills and knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).  

SVR currently supports a FIRST Robotics competition team at Halifax County High School, Team 977, the Cometbots.  Students engage in mentor-based projects that build skills in STEM as well as communication and leadership.  Students are well prepared to contribute to our community.
