Project Title:  Digital Citizenship In Chemistry

Students in Malaysia Studied complex chemistry problems and created YouTube videos. The purpose of the project was to have students engage in projects that focused on challenges and problems they face in the real World. They were able to investigate and respond to an authentic, complex problem they normally don't study in school. They focused on chemistry, integrating media information, literacy (MIL), through critical thinking in chemistry.  The=e results of their projects are YouTube videos the students created. The videos are posted on a class website.

The focus of the project was the students' ability to incorporate digital media information and critical thinking skills to collaboratively work together. The students did their research, created videos, and the videos were added to the class website.

The students are 16 years old.
