Students are asked at this point of the lesson, to join in on a class discussion examining the diversity of biomes and terrain throughout the world. Students use their prior knowledge and observation skills during this analysis. Students will point out different regions on the map; and use the color coordination and drawn land formation to come to conclusions about what its like to live in that region, what animals live their etc... This part of the lesson is a great way to facilitate discussions and observe the thought process of each individual student.
