美國天普大學舞蹈博士、哥倫比亞大學舞蹈碩士,現任臺北市立大學舞蹈學系專任副教授兼系主任,專長兒童舞蹈教育、舞蹈課程設計、舞蹈教學法、舞蹈師資培育等。2023-24臺灣舞蹈研究學會理事長,從2007年起,歷任台灣舞蹈研究學會理事、常務理事、秘書長、期刊主編 (第八期) 等職,以及其它相關藝術期刊顧問委員、審稿委員。2018年起多次獲教育部教學實踐研究計畫補助,並受邀擔任教育部藝術才能班課程委員會專家委員。研究發表於美國、加拿大、香港、馬來西亞、韓國、澳洲、新加坡、臺灣等地,專書著作有《創造性舞蹈師資培育理論與實務》。
Yi-jung Wu received her Ph.D. in Dance from Temple University and an M.A. in Dance from Teachers College, Columbia University, focusing on dance education for children, dance curriculum design, dance pedagogy, and preservice teacher education in dance. She is currently an associate professor and chair of the Department of Dance at the University of Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Wu has been sitting in the board of Taiwan Dance Research Society (TDRS) since 2007 and served as TDRS Executive Secretary from 2010 to 2013 and President from 2023 to 2024. In 2013, she also served as Chief Editor of the 8th Issue of Taiwan Dance Research Journal. She has published or presented her research in USA, Canada, Hongkong, Malaysia, Korea, Australia, Singapore, and Taiwan. Her publication includes Theories and Practices of Creative Dance Teacher Education.
