Neuroscience based Universal Design for Learning supports our need to message clear expectations. This supports students in task management.
View screen free time section of resources by grade level for content. Remember to include not only text, but also images and visual models of content.
As students engage in conversations about learning, taking notes of what they hear, say, and wonder supports language development and fosters inquiry.
Consider more than one way for students to demonstrate their understanding of content. One non-tech dependent option to consider is sketchnoting.
