In this project we compared google forms to microsoft forms. In this page I decided to talk about google forms because I did not have as much experience with google forms versus microsoft forms so I got to learn new things about google forms that I had never learned before. During this research we sent out quizzes for people to fill out in order to learn how to use excel to get the results for our quizzes. We sent these out to fellow educators and peers in order to get results and practice how to view them on different platforms.

Substitution in the SAMR model is defined as tech that acts as a direct tool substitute. Google forms replaces paper surveys and anonymous forms. Now using this tech it can be shown anonymously in front of the entire class on one results page using google forms. It can be a very important thing for students for them to have their answers anonymous at some points and this tool allows students to have that confidentiality.

Google forms is widely used around the world. Not just for education. However this is a very useful tool that teachers can use. I had used google forms many times before but I learned how to view the results all next to each other on an excel page.
