Our pedagogical philosophy and values were updated in 2017 as part of the school review process, staff, students and families all had input.
"At Taradale Primary School we have the responsibility to serve our diverse geographic and human community. We respond to our community’s needs through a flexible approach that has relationships at its centre and that maintains visible connections both within and outside the school. We do this through a nature and play-based, experiential curriculum that is multi-aged. This allows us to respond with a personalised approach focused on a wide curriculum offering and feedback that leads to student progress."
We build relationships based on trust, conducting ourselves with honesty and knowing we have someone who is there for us or believes in us.
We respect ourselves, our school and each another, and understand that our attitudes and behaviours have an impact on the people around us.
We value diversity and the richness that a diverse community brings.
