enrolments

Taradale Primary School provides a friendly , nurturing and engaging environment where children are challenged and supported to develop skills, competencies and values that will enable them to thrive. We work to ensure that students have access to a comprehensive, quality education that caters for a child's individual needs and rates of learning.

The school has grown in popularity over the last few years, attracting families from within and beyond our neighbourhood catchment area. This has resulted in a steady increase in enrolments and Taradale PS is now seen as a 'school of choice'.

We welcome all enrolment inquiries. Please contact the school to arrange a tour or to ask for more information about the school.

Proof of birth date (Passport or Birth Certificate) as well as complete immunisation records are to be submitted with the completed enrolment form. If you need assistance to complete the enrolment form, please contact the school on 5423-2247.

You can collect an enrolment form from the school, contact us via phone or email Chris at christopher.burgess@education.vic.gov.au

We currently have capacity for students in all year levels.

Our school zone

All state schools in Victoria have a neighbourhood catchment, or school zone. Families are welcome to approach their local school or other schools to discuss enrolment options. Taradale welcomes all enrolment enquiries.

The text below about school zones is from DET:

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au. Findmyschool.vic.gov.au hosts the most up-to-date information about Victorian school zones.

Students residing in this zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

The Department provides guidance through the School Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other schools, subject to facility limitations.

You can find more information and answers to frequently asked questions on the Department’s website under School zones.
