Most of us happen upon Networking. We begin a business and before long we've been invited to a Networking event. Often we are bowled over by this huge sub culture that we never even knew existed... and... a room full of people looking to do business with each other. On the other hand... it can be a bit daunting...
Whichever it is... unfortunately we are not equipped at the start with Networking skills... sadly nor are many of those we meet at Networking events either...

Often when a 'cause' is identified and a community group set up it is undertaken with high levels of passion and energy. Although hugely important, there is a lot more than this required to turn a fledgling group into one that delivers on its mission.
This workshop provides some ideas which can lead to much greater levels of resilience for the group, which ensures all the passion, energy and effort continues to deliver for the community.

If you are thinking about a community initiative, have already started one and /or you are struggling with an existing group, then this workshop will provide plenty to think about (and implement)

At networking we often have to introduce ourselves. What do you say? Hence the phrase 'Elevator Pitch'. A short introduction that explains what you are passionate about (Tip: You often need more than one)

If you struggle speaking in public then at least being totally comfortable with your elevator pitch (60 seconds / 40 seconds) will take the pressure off you.
Most people do not take the time to prepare an elevator pitch. Doing this one thing well can make a huge difference both to those listening and to your self esteem.
