Branching Out Enrichment Program
This program offers opportunities for middle grade students (4th-8th grade) to dig deeper in specific subject areas, including science, art, and independent studies. During Quarter 2, students will focus science studies on chemistry through a mix of verbal instruction, in-class reading, and hands-on exploration and experiments.
Study Hall is a supervised independent work time. Students should bring work to complete during this time. This can be parent-assigned work like books to read, worksheets, or online learning modules. Students may also use the time to pursue independent research or work on projects, like reading, painting or another art project, building a business plan, etc. Parents may also choose to send a limited amount of work and allow free time after completion. Teachers will communicate with parents about the work their child should be doing and whether students are meeting expectations.
