Your Guide

Hi! I'm Darby. 

I am originally from Louisiana, where I attended and graduated from the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts and completed a Bachelor of General Studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I moved to Kansas several years ago to pursue a Master of Arts in Religious Studies at KU. Now, I live in Wichita with my husband and one child. 

I have loved children and been passionate about education for as long as I can remember. In high school and college, I started learning more about our education system and how humans learn - and I realized these two things didn't always work together. 

My goal is to provide alternate methods of educating children. I don't have it all figured out and I don't have all the answers. What I do have is a love for children, an insatiable hunger for knowledge, a passion for creating the change we want to see, and a desire to watch children make the world a better place. I am honored to guide them and be along for the ride.
