The BetterComb by BetterBee did not work out for me. I installed the synthetic wax foundations per the instructions, but the comb stretched and elongated under the weight and heat stresses of being used. BetterBee now has an interim fix for this issue. They came up with an embedded wire support frame to add structural support to the wax. They sell prewired frames, but you must buy the heater embedding block to apply 12v battery voltage to the wires so they melt into the wax.

This fix looks like it might work, however I'm a little disenchanted with this product at this point. Realize a failure of this magnitude could equate to an entire season of setbacks.
